We *heart* NY

My cousin Marissa was getting married in NY, so we decided to make it a longer trip to visit some friends, see some sights, and try and get Josh some work.

I haven't been to New York for a couple of years, or up North in a while for that matter, so the whole trip was very comforting and exciting.

We went to the Banksy animatronics show - The Village Pet Store - about the exploitation of animals - great, great exhibit!

We also visited the Marc Jacobs accessories store and McSorely's, which has been around since before Prohibition, for some dark beer for Josh and some light beer for me.

We also visited Canal Street and got some fun sunglasses. And there were chickens there. (We did not purchase any.)

Then the wedding! It was at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers which we could see the Statue of Liberty from. It was superfun, and everyone danced all night. And Marissa looked beautiful!

The next day we went to Little Italy and ate a lot.
