Bloody 'ell

Here's a working image from the shoot Josh did last weekend. It's not quite finished yet, but pretty close. Pretty gruesome, huh?

So sore!

So I actually worked out this weekend! Did the "Shake Your Booty Boot Camp" class at Dance 411 in East Atlanta and played soccer. And we won! Go FCC Georgia!

So my abs hurt. And my hamstrings hurt. And my abs hurt. Bad.
Not so sure about this getting in shape thing....

Other events of the weekend:
Went to the 2008 Honda Battle of the Bands, which is a showcase of marching bands from different colleges. My favorite part was when one of the schools covered "Low" - you know, "Applebottom jeans, boots with the fur" - and the whole stadium started singing and dancing! It was pretty cool.
Ate at Pittypat's Porch, which is a full-on embrace of Southern culture at its finest. It's basically a tribute to Gone With the Wind and taxidermied animal heads. Had some amazing fried chicken! And they give you black-eyed peas and collard greens too, but I'm really not a fan of either of those.
Josh spent all day Sunday working on a personal photo shoot that he's been planning for a while. I'll post an image from it when he has something worked up!

Snow Day #2

This time we actually got enough snow that work would have been canceled, but it was on Saturday, so no work anyway. Cali had lots of fun though! This is the first time she's seen snow since she was a puppy in Philly. And she likes the getting dried off part too:

Moonwalk at Whirley Ball

Cartoon Network Trade Creative Services celebrated Ty's birthday by playing Whirley Ball and clobbering each other on the moonwalk. Yellow team kicked butt!

HOTlanta is too damn warm

We got almost an inch of snow yesterday evening, but because Atlanta's weird and uncooperative, it actually got warmer throughout the night, turning the snow to rain and leaving us with perfectly un-iced roads this morning. So no snow day from work today.

Monster Truck Jam!

Petrika, Ryan, and I went to the sold-out Monster Truck Jam 08 at the Georgia Dome last weekend. And it was AWESOME! Check out the freestyle that ended the event - Maximum Destruction wrecking some shit up:

Also, check out my video of the demolition derby round 2 in which each car had to haul something - maybe a port-a-potty, maybe a boat - the possibilities are endless.
