This past weekend, Petrika, Siobhan, and I tried out for a game show! It's called "Hole in the Wall" and will be aired on Fox. Have you ever seen those Japanese game shows that they usually dub over in really hilarious English? There's an event in those called Human Tetris, and that's what Hole in the Wall is based on.
The casting was NOT very crowded, so hopefully we have a chance of making the cut! We'll find out in 2 weeks whether we're going to Burbank or not.
In the meantime, please enjoy out amazing outfits: Strawberry Jam in an extremely crowded casting waiting room
Our counterparts - Ben, Larry, and Brian from Cartoon Network On-Air who also auditioned
Petrika taking the measurements process very seriously - the spandex suits and helmets must fit just right
Siobhan barely fitting in the smallest person mold!
And for those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, this is Human Tetris:
Okay, I've been super bad about posting lately. Sorry, sorry. So here's a quick run through of what y'all have missed! In no particular, order:
My parents came to Atlanta and completely surprised me for Mother's Day! It was a great weekend!
Me and mom
The mothers looking at wedding magazines
Cali and Bailey being exceptionally cute
Josh and I went to the GA Renaissance Festival. Maybe not the best choice we've ever made. Pyrotechnics guy - he exploded 100 firecrackers taped to his body, which sadly was really not that impressive looking
Forgot to mention, we went on "Pirate Plunder Weekend". I don't really know what else to say about this one.
Oh, there was also 2(!!!) weddings there that day - pretty positive these were some of the groomsmen from one of them.
What else have we been up to? Allison came to visit from Chicago. Only got to see her for a night, but had lots of fun and finally got to eat at Top Flr! Went to a happy hour low-country boil (our favorite!) on a rooftop, which had a fantastic view of Atlanta (which we're blocking in the picture below). And I'm sure there's been lots of other momentous events that I can't quite place at the moment.
